I took a whole week off. 7 whole days. In that time, I checked my e-mail twice and my blog reader only once. I left Paducah at 5:00 on Christmas Eve and drove to Chicago to spend the holiday with my family at my sister's house. On the 27th, mom, dad and I ventured back to St. Louis in a lovely winter rain (the whole way!).
It was great.
I am back now. And that's great, too. I am refreshed; the building is making progress; we have returned to Sunday School; and there's a giant green leaf in my office! (It's super-cool!)
I have many pictures and many stories to tell, but I realized I hadn't posted anything at all in 2 weeks. Sorry about that!
