I am tired of my house always being "a little dirty" and "a little cluttered." It makes me feel like my life is cluttered. And cluttered is NOT the way I want to live.
So I've made a new resolution.
I've heard that it takes 21 days to make a new habit.
So for 21 days, I will do the following things in order to try to keep up with my house.
1. I will clean off my counter top every night before bed.
2. I will put all of the clothes that collect on my bedroom chair where they belong.
3. I will wipe down the counter in the bathroom every night before bed.
It's really going to be pretty tough for me. The time right before bed is often my "me" time, and cleaning is one of those things I really don't enjoy.
But I'm committed to this.
I will be more at peace with my life if I am more at peace with my space.
