This week's Hi:
I had a lengthy conversation with Beth yesterday. She is my mentor and lives in NC. Beth and I talk about every 2 weeks, but yesterday was a bit of a "crisis" call to her. I needed some immediate assistance on a particular issue and she was more than willing to take time out to help me. I am so grateful for her presence in my life. God has gifted me with this woman and I am a better minister because of her!
This week's Lo:
We lost a very precious church member this week in Mary. She has had significant issues with her heart for several years now, but seemed to be doing better. She was at church on Sunday for the first time in many months. Wednesday morning the staff at the assisted living facility found her and she had died. I will miss this wonderfully sassy, intelligent woman.
