A few weeks ago, our kids led in worship. Six of our 4th through 6th graders qualified for All State Children's Choir this year, and one of the songs they learned was the simple Latin piece, Dona Nobis Pacem.
It's always been a favorite of mine.
In three simple words it says, "Grant us peace."
Over and over again to an assortment of melody lines.
It's always been a favorite.
But that day, it resonated like never before.
Six children's voices filled our sanctuary.
Six voices sang three words.
Six voices allowed me to hear One.
Dona Nobis Pacem.
Yes, Lord, please do.
